Meeso's Story

Meeso was born in China with distemper and could not walk. Out of love and faith, I adopted him anyway, disabilities and all. He beat every odd against him. He walked again, and he kept walking through most of his early years — a miracle by any measure. Monks in Shanghai gave Meeso their blessing to go on helping save dogs around the world and to carry hope wherever he went.

As Meeso has aged, he has again lost the use of his hind legs. He has taught me that

strength and faith carry us through the hardest seasons of our lives, and that his

foundation is worth building for every family still standing at that crossroads.
